In September 2007, the boys lacrosse team at Harlan was fortunate to receive an equipment grant from US Lacrosse, the national governing body for men's and women's lacrosse. Harlan was recognized as one of four high schools from across the country to receive such a grant. The grant consists of equipment generously donated by major manufacturers like Brine, Warrior, STX, Maverick, and Shamrock.
